The Skid Pan Area
Our unique clean water skid conrol technique is designed to allow participants to experience skids at various speeds and learn the skills required to regain control of the car. The skid pan is very safe as it's in an open area with lots of run-off area. This is important as we want participants to feel confident that they can make mistakes but still feel safe and secure whilst learning possibly life saving skid control techniques.
The Skid Control Training Instructors
It's also very important that the skid control instructor has the required skills and experience to fully understand what is required to train drivers of varying confidence and skill levels. To ensure this level is achieved our skid pan instructors are all experienced and successful motorsport competitors.
Skid Pan Training For All Cars
We provide training courses in both front and rear wheel drive skid cars which allows us to train front, rear and four wheel drive skid recovery techniques. Our skid cars are not modified in any way to ensure that they handle like a normal car would in that situation. To create slippery skid conditions we fit them with special low grip tyres and wet the skid pan area with clear water.
