DriverSkills skid pan experience facility is located on the outskirts of York in Northern England just 2 minutes from the A64.
The UK's Largest Skid Control Area
Our skid control experience venue is a very large area of smooth concrete which allows drivers to develop skid control skills at both high and low speed in safety. It measures 1/2 mile by 3/4 mile and is marked out using soft traffic cones so it's a very safe environment.
Unique Facilities
This exellent driver training venue has some unique facilities including a half mile section of motorway marked out on the pad area which we use for emergency avoidance training.
Full Catering Facilities
There is an excellent cafeteria on site which is open all day during events to supply hot snacks and lunches. We also have rooms available for corporate meetings and events.
