There are two main areas of driver training which can benefit you as a driver.

The first is Skid Control Training which will help you recover control of your car if you go past its limit of grip. The second, which is equally as important, is to avoid getting into that emergency situation in the first place! This can be achieve by learning Defensive Driving Techniques. (Or Advanced Driving as it's also known).
This full day driver training course covers both areas and is our most popular combined course.

Requirements

Driverskills provide the skid car and all the equipment needed for the Skid Pan Course. The on road training however takes place in your vehicle. You will therefore need to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition and also bring along a valid MOTC certificate (if applicable) along with your drivers licence and insurance certificate.

Instructors

Your instructor for the on road training will be a qualified Department of Transport Advanced Driving Instructor and for the Skid Training we use only professional Motorsport instructors with a high degree of skill in this area.

Course Format

The day is split into two halves with a half day spent on our skid pan area and the other half day out on the road.

Advanced On Road Driving
